I recently stayed at Casa D Amelia for a relaxing vacation in the Balear Region. The owner, João, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and his attention to detail in designing the interior of the house was impressive. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was spacious and fully equipped. It was a unique experience staying in a property with such a rich history. João provided us with great recommendations for exploring the beautiful surroundings, including stunning beaches just a short drive away. it was a wonderful stay.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The apartment was fully equipped and clean, with a charming touch of homemade furniture and decorations. The location was great, with beautiful places to visit nearby and the beach just a short drive away. The host was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for exploring the surroundings.
Our stay over Christmas was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. The lack of festive decorations in the apartment and the nearby area made it feel like just another regular day, rather than a special holiday experience.

Beautiful 3 bedrooms with fully stocked kitchen and views overlooking vineyards. Private courtyard and safe and secure parking. Fantastic location close to Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, and Peniche. Charming small town atmosphere that transports you to another time. Host, João, is lovely and has made most of the furniture in the property and outdoors from reclaimed items. Great for families, exploring the countryside, or a writing retreat.
Felt snug, but nothing was too much trouble.
